Sumba & Sumbawa

Named after the two Indonesian islands from which they originate, these ponies are robust with good stamina and endurance. Primitive in looks, they are co-operative, fast and agile. Incredibly strong, they're used as pack horses, for riding, light draught work and the traditional game of lance throwing.
